Commercial Description:
Something has gone terribly wrong (or terribly right depending on your view) in the Brewhouse. One of the brewers must have added too much malt to the mash and made a very strong beer. Stronger than your used to from the brewery that makes authentic German styles. This super strong beer has put the whole place in a state of pandemonium.

- The beer is golden colored but very heavy with alcohol of about 8% by volume. It’s dangerously easy to drink, so as the bottle label states: “You’ve been warned.”

Bottled. An amber beer with a light sediment floating under a thin white head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt, as well as a light oxidation. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit - peaches and oranges, as well as notes of malt, alcohol, and oxitation, leading to a dry fruity finish. The body is light inspite of the 8% ABV. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of goryshkewych. Clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma - a little oxidized perhaps. Medium body, sweetish malty and again perhaps a little oxidized with overripe fruit. Carbonation is a little low. Sweet malty finish, no real bitterness. A little over the top but still a decent drink. 220909

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide malt, toffee, fresh fruity - berry, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090922]

clear dark gold, wispy head, sweet candy caramel aroma with a hint of earthyness, sticky candy caramel sweet malt flavor, a touch of earthy hops adds not really any balance but instead a bit of complexity,

Golden-amber colour, but slightly dull. Not much head. The aroma is pale malts and light spice. Light spice and vague malt on the palate. Light caramel. Not finding the promised pandemonium; this is pretty bland.

Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is light, too light malt and cereals. It has a light malt flavor, with some residual sweetness, and smooth mouthfeel; it feels like being old. Quite forgettable.
