The appearance is copper gold with a small head. The flavor is mildly bitter with plenty of malt. The palate is full. The aftertaste is slightly astringent. Not bad. beerczar69 (39), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Clear amber appearance with a small head and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma with some floral notes. Smooth, medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Fairly sweet, toasty malt taste balanced by a modest amount of hops. Slightly metallic aftertaste. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Clear copper to orange color with white head. Aroma of malt and a bit of noble hops. Nice malt flavor and I detect a grapefruit note as well both sweet and sour. Very nice Pilsner. hopscotch (5514), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 3, 2006 Bottle... Clear, light amber lager with a large, rocky, off-white head. Excellent, creamy retention. Herbal, earthy aroma with a hint of crisp citrus fruit. Malty, earthy flavor. Leans just a fragment on the sweet side of balance. Light carbonation. Malty, bittersweet finish. Not really brewed to style, but I see Ratebeer has this one categorized as a Vienna. I agree. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2006 Sickly sweet, dont expect a pilsner, other than the Saaz (description only says Hallertau?) hopping and carbonation. Pours an orangey-yellow color with some chill haze, lots of carbonation, but a short-lived head. Aroma was light grass, some cardboard, some bready aspects. The flavor was bread, sweet cookies, caramel, corn, and light grass. Mouthfeel was sickly sweet for a "pilsner," nothing dry at all about the finish, even with a significant level of carbonation. Too sweet to enjoy. MrBunn (1547), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Amber pour with a light head. Flavor is fairly reminiscent of a Molson Canadian with a bit more balance and malt body. Sweetish character with malt goes nice and is a departure from what I expected in a Pils. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
