A little skunk, crisp hops, a little perfume, and some cardboard in the nose. Medium-high carbonation with a light mouthfeel. Light caramel, sweet malt, a little grass, and grain on the palate. Medium-short finish. Light and fairly refreshing, but a little on the watery side. Overall not a bad brew. Hophead22 (1105), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Malty caramel graininess in aroma. Not much hop aroma and clean with no fruitiness. Clear amber golden with small white head. Malty flavor with little hop flavor. Finish is malty and clean. Not really a Pilsner but still pretty tasty. More a Dunkel or Vienna style lager. Medium body and mouth feel. Slipstream (785), USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Nice amber color. Fairly light, dry, and bitter brew. Not much of a pilsner, but that is because it apparently is a Vienna lager. So so. This brewer has not really won me over. They are just a click above the macros imho. jimmack34 (570), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours pale yellow with a nice white head. Smells mellow slight hop and malt smell. Tastes a little grainy, with some hop bitterness. An easy drinking beer. Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: pours as clear dark golden brew. Medium long lived mid dense top. Nose: Clean , fresh properly constructed pils aroma. Meadow like hop profile often found in Bavarian and Bohemian lagers. Very neat refreshing softness. Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Golden malt bottom. Not to heavy with delicate yet pronounced hops. Very drinkable amber pils from Penn Brewery. Pleasant surprise.
As of Feb 2009 this beer is higly underrated.
