Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a decent white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Sweet malt flavour has some notes of corn, and herbal hops with light finishing bitterness. Aroma of grassy, stale hops, some dough and faint citrus. Taste was muddy, grass that had been walked over. Tasted very dirty, though smelled slightly better. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2005 Hmmm 69 people before me did not notice that this is not a pilsner, but in fact a Vienna Lager. Although the name says pilsner it is not. This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of mild floral malts . Its mouth feel is initially tingly mildly malty with a lingering mellow thick palate. Its flavor contained mild hops and malts favoring the hops and was tasty. An above average brew.
