750 ml bottle in a fancy red bag and all... (Batch 1). Pour is a dark brown, but as I’m pouring it looks like it has an almost pink color to it... Head is fairly substantial. Aromas are dusty grains. Flavor is almost completely malt and roast... with a little hint of alcohol and some nuttiness in the aftertaste. This makes this a fairly simple, yet decent brew.

Very fruity nose with floral notes. Pours deep amber with a slight cloudiness. The front is fruity, finish is roasted and slightly bittersweet. The flavor has very nice depth with some complexity.

Batch 001 pours a brown mahogany body with a small beige head that leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma of malty toffee, herbal hops, and hints of cocoa and pears. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is rich maltiness, with an emphasis on toffee. Herbal hops impart a sturdy bitterness Vague fruity hints are less assertive than in the aroma. A pretty good American bock but I was hoping for better.

25oz uncorked green bottle, batch #1. Attractively thick brown-amber color. The aroma is deep and malty in the bock style. Deep, rich flavor with a very moderate carbonation level. Sweet tastes of chocolate and pungent fruit. This is an excellent beer, worth seeking out if you are into big German beers.

Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours brown with a slight haze and has a mildly frothy tan head. The aroma has deep dark fruitiness, roasted malts, mild earthiness mixed with molasses and pepper. The taste is sweet to roasted malts that run into dark fruitiness like plums, cherries and sweet dark grapes. The body is a little thin carrying faint spiciness into the finish. Nice sweet malty experience.
