Aroma was sweet bready malts, as was the flavor, with caramel, fruits and a lot of brown sugar. A bit thin and watery, but not horrible. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2007 12 oz bottle from the Eppeist (thanks man!). This one is a dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is malty with some subtle fruitiness, most berries. Taste is sweet, toasty and a tiny bit of sourness. Sort of a sweet n sour n toasty! Like orange marmalade on a biscuit, but instead of orange....strawberry marmalade..well if there was such a thing, but you get my drift? There is also a bit of chocolate malts and some nuttiness in the finish/aftertaste. Medium body and moderate/high carbonation. A decent bock that i would be happy to chugalug on my patio without much thought. In otherwords, there is nothing wrong with this beer...’s ok in my book. MAP (1089), Lakewood, Ohio, USA
