Bomber. Pours dark brown with a small head. Palate was smooth, with a dry finish. Flavors are certainly dark with mild roasts, but the middle flavors are notably weak. I drank my portion of the bomber with scarcely an impression of it afterwards.

Dark brown pour with a tan head and lace. Chocolate, burnt coffee, and roasted malt on the nose. Semi sweet malt, chocolate, and a light earthy hop bitter. Medium full bodied beer with an almost creamy carbonation but not. The best beer I think I’ve had from these guys to date.

pours a deep brown with a medium light tan head. poor retention and lacing. aroma is of caramel and cocoa. flavor is roasty malt with just a subtle hint of chocolate and a bit of earthy hops. mouthfeel is a bit creamy and finish is roasty with the faintest hint of coffee and chocolate. not bad but not as good as i had hoped...

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep brown with tan head. Nose is roasty dark malt, cacao, BS, slight hops, cherry. Tastes roasty dark malty, with chocoff, BS, hops, some rauchy notes...gets very rauchy as it warms. Palate is medium, and gets watery late. This one started strong, and with some reformulation could become a world class beer.

Pours dark borwn with a light brown head. Smells of sweet malt and chocolatey. Tastes of chocolate, some caramel. Not as good as their other beers.

just a pretty good ale with some steel and dishwater hops and a decent malt backing. these flavors are for what i can tell simply mixed up with a regular Hershey type chocolate syrup, and that’s just about that. the flavor the aroma and the moderate slick and slightly creamy body says it all. malt seems a little alcohol and dark cherry like. and i do wonder what the abv is... maybe 5.8%??? oh yeah i liked the soft vibrant and foamy carbonation.

Pours dark brown with a fizzy film - kind of looks like cola - actually, kinda tastes a little like cola, too - there is some roasty component, and faint chocolate, but everything about this beer is very indistinct - some vegetal character and mineral/hard water qualities - finishes very sweet, again, reminding me of soda - meh.

Bottle. At new beer. Pours a dark brown body with ruby highlights and a tan one finger head. Light chalky malt body, minerals, light chocolate, coco, and some toasted malt. Rather thin and simple.
