Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head.. Aroma of sweet malt, a touch oxidized, some roasted malt notes. Flavor of roasted, smoky malts. Definite oxidation...probably an old bottle, but I don’t really know. Meh. 5/4/6/3/11 [2.9/5]

pours dark brown, thick light mocha head. aroma, licorice? hoppy, chocolate malt. flavor, lightly malty with some chocolate and roast. Finishes with some chocolate powder impression and light hops adding bitterness to the mix. Overall the finish is rather weak and a little disappointing. Low carbonation and watered down while keeping this chocolate powder aspect.

Brewed in the USA... Courtesy of Woody, thanks !! Pours almost black in color with a small off white head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel and smoke. Taste is of chocolate, malts, smoke and earth. Mouthfeel is medium in body, kind of chalky with malty finish. Not bad, very easy to drink.

dark brown pour with a full creamy head. Kind of thin aroma, some sweet chocolate and malt. Flavor is better with some decent bitter roast, smoke galore and bitter chocolate. A little thin mouthfeel. Not overly impressive, but not terrible, i like the smokiness.

Bottle - thanks mcox90. Dark brown pour with a finger of creamy beige head. Light aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is sweet and chocolatey with light hints of molasses and a mild roast. A bit overly sweet, but still interesting.

From bottle. Sour chocolate aroma. Thin white head. Deep ruby colour. Thin texture and weak in flavour. Was expected something more full bodied. Slight flavour of roasted malt and chocolate.

Draft @ Monster B’s. A light bodied porter gives this a marshmellowy lightness. I can taste the crispness of the hop with light nutmeg tones. Good porter.
