| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Appearance: Pours a reddish-hued body with a smallish, frothy, off-white head.
Smell: Slight bready malt aroma with mild notes of caramelized sugar and a woodsy hop character.
Taste: Dry toasty, caramel maltiness with a very restrained sweetness. Woody, somewhat spicy hops with a mild bitterness. Same until the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Not the most thrilling or exciting amber by any stretch of the imagination, but it sure is sweet that a portion of proceeds are donated to local emergency services. Yes sir, mighty sweet.
