| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2007 Bottle… Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Earthy, citric aroma includes caramel, grapefruit and a whisper of evergreen. Barely medium-bodied and ascerbic with middling carbonation. Nicely balanced with moderate caramel sweetness and judicious, tannic, grapefruit rind and pith bitterness. Finishes crisp, mildly bitter and then bone-dry. Cheers to mcbackus for floating this bottle my way! CaptainCougar (5534), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of lightly sweet grainy toasty pale malt and a touch of grassy hops. Body starts with some doughy toffee sweetness and toasty character before a drier, smooth finish. A pretty decent amber.
