Jul 11, 2009 Cask at ACBF. Aroma chocolaty with light vanilla and slightly boozy (in a good way) sweet malt. Flavor opens up into awesome chocolate and peanut butter with a vanilla that is again well-integrated, more of an enriching decadence from it than a sharp vanilla taste. Creamy palate which again works so well with the chocolate, nuts, and vanilla. Hard to express how powerful all these flavors were, but they were powerful and awesome. Really wish I had gone back for more of this instead of trying other beers I knew would be worse. I’m a moron. At least I can still kind of taste it.

Jul 1, 2009 Pours dark brown and still. Some prickly carbonation is present on the first sip, but otherwise, this is mostly still. Aroma is boozy and sweet with vanilla winning out over the bourbon notes. Tastes of sweet caramel, some vanilla, bourbon, nutty.

Jun 22, 2009 Aroma is of vanilla and bourbon. Taste is of some vanilla but mostly peanut butter M&Ms. Enjoyable

Jun 22, 2009 Cask at ACBF09. Pours black with no head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is initially indistinct but then there is a rush of milk chocolate, peanut butter M&Ms, Snickers, bourbon, and vanilla in the finish. Wow, very tasty! I love the chocolatey goodness!
