Dec 30, 2008 <i>Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. </i> Transparently black, creamy head. Vague plastic aroma Medium sweet and fairly light bodied with clean somewhat rounded mouthfeel. Before warming to near room temperature the flavour is void and lifeless - only some slight molasses are there. As it warms chocolate comes out more. It finishes with low bitterness and a tad of cardboard. Remains a bit sterile and clean throughout.

May 25, 2009 Very dark brown with a thin head. Cocoa and chocolate in happy abundance. Full body is smooth, rich, and gently roasty and very chocolatey. Complex, balanced, delicious schwarzbier with an off-dry finish.

660mL from Half Time. Confident, aromatic and charming, friendly dark lager.
I like:
Focused on the dark malt character, neglecting the fruits, but doing so well at chocolate, roasted grains and soft toffee whispers that you just want to take it as it is and drink a lot of it. Remarkably drinkable for a lager of this bulk. Strinking a fine balance between sweet and dry. Just a touch of soft balancing hops.
