(bottle - 22 oz) Hazy copper pour with a very thin and fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some hints of caramel. Flavor begins with a smooth and slightly bitter flavor with a lot of hops and floral notes present. Moves to a very bitter and floral middle with a dry and hoppy finish. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers. Must be the rye in it that makes it that dry.

Large bottle. Quite drinkable yet somewhat boring at the same time. Didn’t leave much of an impression really.

Bottle shared at jimmacks Beer Wars preparty. Thinner orange bodied with a small white bubbly head. Sweet aroma with notes of caramel, honey and grass notes. Earthy flavor with some honey and waxy chocolate. Meh its a pale ale but not a very good one.

Jim Macks Pre-Beer Wars Gathering. Thanks John. Pours an orange body with a white head. Bread y with citrus highlights and a malted caramel body. Hints of pine with a lightly bitter finish. Not bad.

Bomber Shared by Jcwattsrugger. Pours a nice pale orange with a thin lasting head. Aroma is nutty toasted malts, bready, light sweet caramel, some toffee, herbal and light citrus hops- a bit toned down. Toasty and pale crackery malt flavor, with some dry herbs, tea, citrus, orange zest and some pine needle- caramel sweetness is moderate and an overall very lacking hop bitterness that left the mouthfeel a bit bland and uninspiring. Meh.

From the 650 ml. bottle with no date or lot code listed anyplace. The pour is a fairly clear amber-copper tone with a long lasting supply of off-white puffy head. The aroma is quite a delicious combination of fresh evergreen, caramel, and malts. The taste is more like an English bitter with honey rather than an American pale with a dryer finish. I thought it was a nice brew.
