Aroma is sweet and malty with some hints of caramel. Flavor begins with a smooth and slightly bitter flavor with a lot of hops and floral notes present. Moves to a very bitter and floral middle with a dry and hoppy finish. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers. Must be the rye in it that makes it that dry. BroSpud (598), , Massachusetts, USA

Aroma is nutty toasted malts, bready, light sweet caramel, some toffee, herbal and light citrus hops- a bit toned down. Toasty and pale crackery malt flavor, with some dry herbs, tea, citrus, orange zest and some pine needle- caramel sweetness is moderate and an overall very lacking hop bitterness that left the mouthfeel a bit bland and uninspiring. Meh. puboflyons (602), New Hampshire, USA

The pour is a fairly clear amber-copper tone with a long lasting supply of off-white puffy head. The aroma is quite a delicious combination of fresh evergreen, caramel, and malts. The taste is more like an English bitter with honey rather than an American pale with a dryer finish. I thought it was a nice brew. joshwilfong (779), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
