Commercial Description:
Halligan RyePA is the third in our Firehouse Series. We brewed it with 25% rye malts and finished with Amarillo hops giving this beer a nice peach and sweet malt aroma balanced with citrus and pine notes.

Courtesy of argo0. Clear amber body with a small white head. Rye bread nose with some apricot and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with caramel, tea, bread, herbs and golden fruits. Medium body is a bit thin with light carbonation.

22oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a bright, deep golden-orange color; bright off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Rye, sweet malts, and orange peel in the aroma; resigned hop character. Medium mouthfeel: slightly chalky; earthy hop bitterness, wet malts, and basic sugar and earthy maltiness; not terribly complex or well-hopped; kind of bland; some cereal. Medium finish: red fruits, wet malts, and some orange hop bitterness.

(22oz bottle) Small off-white head that wholly diminishes, atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, caramel, orange/floral. Taste is medium sweet, peach, caramel, some rye, grapefruit/orange. Light-medium body, some resin. Seems more an APA than an IPA.

Truly a pretty beer in the glass. A full spectrum amber with a low dense white head. Bomber in trade with MCox90. If’n yah can trade with him...do so cause he’s the pennchuck connection. Nose is floral and rounded., but pulled from the glass and not overpowering the peaches ty speak of are faint.. This brew is going down well with no lunch and a whole lot of typing today. The body is light to medium and the hops dominate it as is the swirling dry hop finish. The rye malts are a nice stable platform. Piney. Its nice to drink a brew that is this hoppy and not so damn in your face with alcohol and body. A nice hop lovers brew. I’m going to make a sanwich now.. Thanks Mike!

Cask at GBBF 2007. A pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, nuts, and pumpernickle bread, leading to a dry and bitter finish.
