Tap at Spuyten. Pours a crystal clear nice ruby red and a thinning head. Aroma is modest fruity esters, sharp and refined crystal malts, and a syrupy sweetness. Raisin , apple and other fruits in the flavor, toffee, lots of crystal malts, caramel-like but not big or toasty, Munich like, just sharp straight up bland sweetness, with some fruits, and a slightly off slick mouthfeel. Meh.

1 liter bottle shared by Alraomon. Thanks! Pours a reddish brown color with a medium head. Decent lacing and good head retention. Aroma is strong caramel malts with some banana notes. Taste is caramel malts, raisin, banana and subtle hops. Soft but lively carbonation. Smooth and full bodied. Very nice.

1 litre swing top bottle purchased at the brewery. Pours an amber/brownish color with a 1/2’’ tan head. Nose is sweet caramel and malt. Palate is smooth, mildly carbonated and a bit on the thin side. The first flavor that hits the tongue is a short burst of molasses, followed by a more subtle taste of caramel. Other flavors include toffee, raisins & nuts. Starts sweet and ends sweet.

Pours a deep amber colour with a rocky coffee-coloured head. Minimal lacing. The nose is full of caramel, toffee and brown raisins with a veil of dust with some notes of aluminum. The flavour is vinous, musty and dry. It has a rich caramel, toffee and date flavour, but a thin finish and mouthfeel. The palate is silky smooth, lightly carbonated and pleasant, but its a tad thin. It’s very straight forward, but enjoyable. The hop characteristic is even low for a doppelock.

pours a cloudy deep amber with an inch thick creamy tan head. . has a caramel toffee aroma with undertones of prunes and raisins. Flavor is lackluster at first but snowballs into a nutty, fruity smooth unique taste. very little carbonation.
