I’m always happy to see new breweries in my state. Especially breweries that are regional. 1 liter swingtop bottle. Pours red with a nice tan head. Smells fruity, nutty, caramelly, earthy, spicy. Tastes of caramel, nuts, light spice, some hints of bitterness, tea, touches of booziness. Mouthfeel is full bodied with a finish that yields some warming alcohol. Decent.

his brew is a clear dark chestnut that holds up an off-white head.
Malty nutty aroma.
The flavor follows the aroma.

Jul 6, 2008 btl opened by jcwattsrugger. Dark brown pour with hints of red light tan head and lace. A hint of raisins and brown sugar on the nose. Flavor is mollasses and light toasted malt with a hint of cheeriness. Full bodied well carbonated beer. Very solid very drinkable beer. I liked it.

Jul 2, 2008 Poured a clear amber color with a large beige head. Sweet sugary malt aroma. Caramel notes dominate the aroma and flavor. A one dimensional sweetness for this one.

Jun 13, 2008 Light sweet buttery aroma. Clear light amber color with a small dark tan head. Mild malt in the beginning with a slightly tart finish.
