Thanks to mcox90 for this bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a large light beige head and light lacing. The aroma is full of caramel and some light grains. The flavor is oddly very dry, some full caramel malts, light grains, some light peppery spices and nutmeg. Not bad at all. Somewhat medicinal.

Draft at Lazy Boy. Flavor is pretty malty with only a slight amount of oxidation. Decent cereal flavor and although the hops have faded, it leaves behind a somewhat enjoyable taste.

Deep copper with a full white head and lace. Toasted malt aroma. Sweet toasted malt flavor with a perfumy aftertaste. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy. Good clean drinking beer.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one at his Februmergency Tasting. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Very little malt aroma. Some fruity notes, maybe banana? Sour touches with a dry finish. Not what I look for in a O/M.

Bottle at the Febmergency tasting. Pours copper with beige head. The aroma is caramel, honey, leaves, some tannic raisin. The flavor is leaves, slight caramel, thin toasted malt. It finishes with wood and malt and a hint of bitterness. Decent beer, this.

Bottle at decaturstevo’s Februmergency Tasting for those of us that missed out on Sexual Chocolate ’09. Dark amber pour with reddish highlights and minimal off-white head. Toasted malty and slightly vegetal aroma is pretty good. Sweet caramel malt with some biscuit. Medium body with medium high carbonation. Semi-bitter finish.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Nice deep, clear mahogany color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Nutty nose. Flavor is slightly sweet, doughy malt. $4.29 for a 22oz bottle from Smiley’s Beverage Dover, NH.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 13 Jan 2009) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly toasty nose with notes of caramel and dried fruit. Malty taste with caramel, dried fruit and a spicy, toasty bitterness in the finish. Solid malt profile with balanced sweetness throughout. Leaning in the vienna direction. Really good American style Oktoberfest with emphasis more on malt than hops. Solid effort.
