Draught sample. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of honey, cider, barley. Tastes of honey, apples, some caramel. Nice!

My first real Mead rating - aged 1 year -- so lets take it from there...Pours honey amber into a Snifter. Bright white head skims rim. Honey, clover, cinnamon and alcohol aromas. First sip is dry and crisp apple soaked honey with a lasting sour finish. Second sip is crisp apple-soaked honey and full sour honey. Thought meads were supposed to be sweeter and less cider-like, but enjoyed this concoction nonetheless.

Cloudy amber color. Very appealing aroma of honey and apples. Great flavor of honey, apples and flowers. Excellent braggot.

Almost pours a one finger white head that goes quickly to a ring leaving a little lace. Low carbonation and medium bodied. Almost clear amber color. Nose is apple cider. Flavor is honey and cider, very smooth, high ABV is hidden, hops in the background. Nice beer but not the usual braggot - not enough body and not as sweet. $6.30 for a 22oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA. Label has ABV at 9.8%.

22. Thanks, Kim! Crystal clear medium amber with a slim gray rim. Huge nose of sweet and fruity ginger. Body’s on the light side of medium. Very little carb. Rich red apple skins and ginger on the mid-palate. Long gingery mild finish.

Bottle shared by JW77...yessir. Copper color. Aroma is fruity as hell, lots of stone fruit and honey. Some caramel notes as well. Flavor is sweet/tart with apple, pearts and honey. Good.

Tap at the brewpub. Listed a 9% abv. Mucky brown apple cider apearance, with no head. Apple, alcohol, fruiy smartie aroma, slight tart note. Thin explosive slight acidic apple wine flavor, with some grape notes. The alcohol stings the nostrels.
