kappldav123 (876), Markkleeberg, Germany May 8, 2008 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Not too zippy. Starts sourish-malty, becomes washy to the end. Could be more fruity. Not my favourite Kölsch.

Ernest (4178), Boulder, Colorado, USA Feb 7, 2008 Draught, Peters Brauhaus, Köln.
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear light yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with a note of DMS.
Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky.
Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
The worst kölsch I had while visiting the city...couldn’t finish even one glass. Dirty and very light/bland.
