The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Not too zippy. Starts sourish-malty, becomes washy to the end. Could be more fruity. Not my favourite Kölsch.

Bottle, 4.8%. Chalky, dusty aroma. Clear yellow colour. Small stable white head. Fruity and spicy flavour. Mild, but nice.

33 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours clear and pale yellow with a lacing white head. Light citrus fruity hops aroma. Flavour is light breadish and hoppy. Ends with a breadish note and a light fruity hops flavour.

Bottle (from Koelschtrinker). Slightly sweet corn/barley malt aroma. Pale yellow with small head. Sweet barley malt flavor with moderate hops. Nice enough - a bit light.

Draught, Peters Brauhaus, Köln. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), trace hops (herbs), with a note of DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The worst kölsch I had while visiting the city...couldn’t finish even one glass. Dirty and very light/bland.
