Commercial Description:
Here at choc Beer Company we have a passion for wheat brews, specifically unfiltered wheat ale. When we set out to make Last Laugh we wanted to incorporate not only the great things we enjoy about our own unfiltered wheats but also those that we’ve enjoyed from other great brewers all into one. What a stroke of luck when one of our brewers, Trae Reese, came in one day with a beer he had been working on in his garage. We start with 2-row malted barley; to that we add malted and unmalted red wheat, a gentle hopping of American Cascade and Centennial hops finished with the distinctive flavor and aroma of Indian coriander. I think you will agree Last Laugh will stand up to the traditions of wheat brews from around the world. Prost!

Pale yellow, pure white foam. Lemon grass aroma, herbal spiciness, coriander and light lemony citrus. Taste is ok, thin, some wheat, then a light coriander spice lingers.

As Choc Last Laugh. Speaking of last laugh, is that referring to the brewer getting the last laugh after I wasted my hard earned money on a mixer sixer of Choc (full of shit) beer. Hazy goldenrod with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt, corn and mild hops. Taste of light wheat, light hops and very mild citrus. Finishes up dry and astringent with little to no bitterness.

12 oz bottle from soonah, thanks again for the great box. Poured a light golden body with some seriously chunky pieces of only God knows what floating around sitting underneath a large a large good looking velvety bright white head. Aroma had some initial notes of vanilla and cream that reminded me of a creamsickle that gave way to dusty grains and lemon zest. The body was thin with lots of carbonation and no aftertaste, probably because there was no flavor. The flavor on this one was M.I.A., seriously the falvor was nonexistant with only the slightest trace of grain and lemon. I have to go out on a lib here and say I would prefer Bluemoon to this.

[Bottle] Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is very Wit-like. Included some coriander and citrus. Some yeast and sweet wheat malt in the taste. Plenty of coriander and light clove as well. Also a crisp hop finish that was a little unexpected. Not bad in flavor, but somewhat lacking in body. Not bad though.

Poured hazy and pale gold with a super short ring of white, fizzy foam. The aroma was light citrus and soap. The flavor was thin citrus with tons of soapy, perfume and grainy cereal. Very thin, watery body. Not their best effort.

Straw color with a few flakes of fish food adrift. Small covring of white tiny bubbles. Sweet fruity aromas. Hints of corriander flour paste. Initial wheat flavors taken away by a herbal and cerery seed taste. One of very few beers I start to think of mixing with tomato juice. LIght floral to sweet herb finish. A sweet wheat mess in my book.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body with abundant, smoky yeast clouds. Two finger, soapy white head. Light coriander and orange peel on the nose. Not much else. More of the same in the flavors along with some stale bread and mineral water. Light, somewhat thin bodied, moderately sweet, slightly bitter and tart. Prickly carbonation and a lingering tartness on the back of the tongue. Pretty average.

Bottled. Poured watery golden with a short, uniform cap of white head. The aroma picked up lemon and tart wheat with some sort of non-descript pale malt beneath.. warmth brought out a touch of wet grains.. not bad. The flavor found honey and toasty grains at the core, again with tart wheat and some lemongrass around.. not much influence other than mild bitterness from the hops.. finished short and sweet. Light-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. dry and tart.. not a whole lot going on in this one, but it was decently executed.
