Bottle from Alamo Liquor in McAlester, OK. Pours a hazy amber/orange with off-white head. Aroma of malt and subtle spice. Flavor has nice spicy malt taste, light bitter. Mouthfeel is light body with high carbonation. Over all, a tasty, easy drinking Oktoberfest...refreshing!

pours dark gold, frothy off-white head which dissipates quickly with no hint of lacing. mostly air, ghostly malt (?). tastes like water. i don’t catch any ingredients. much too mild - seems less than a lite beer. the finish is also water. if it wasn’t for the head, i would guess that the bottle went flat. but beer that goes bad usually has a taste. maybe Jebus changed this beer into water when i wasn’t looking.

Hazy, unfiltered amber in color with a decent head at first pour. Aroma didn’t do much for me, malt sure. Taste, pretty typical malt, caramel, not bad. Bit thin maybe. the last yeasty sip practically gagged me for some reason, it was not good. Overall Decent fest beer, I like that it is unfiltered and bottle conditioned, however I would decant yeast next time. Choc is for Choctaw.

Deep amber coloured body with orange highlights and a very thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, almonds, pistachios, leathery and some pit fruits. Med-bod; Mild malty flavour with caramel and nuts showing big time. Very subtle malt comes after that with some light sweetness and not much more. Overall, a mild marzen - nothing too potent, but a good body and a nice finish make for a decent beer. Great to sample, I wish I could get more seasonals from Oklahoma, but the choices are limited! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from Sam’s Warehouse Liquors in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 26-January-2008.
