Light bodied with a watery mouthfeel, very little carbonation. Weak flavor of lightly toasted malts with a little sweetness. Better than any macro lagar and some German imports. jan 2006 jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Pours cloudy golden/red with a medium off white head. Nose is slightly stale malt, spice, and maybe some cream or vanilla or something. Rather thin malty backbone with a little marzen spice, some clove, watery mouthfeel. Forgettable marzen. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 30, 2007 Pour is a cloudy but bright copper color with a respectable off-white head that had good retention but offered sparse lacing. The aroma was brown sugar, thin hints of spice (clove?), malt and yeast. The flavor was malty, vanilla, yeast and some banana. Like a dopplebock-light. The mouthfeel was thin to medium bodied and the finish was just a tad bit metallic. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Pours a golden orange/red amber with a yellowish, large head of bubbles. Smells of fall leaves, lager hops and yeast. Taste is essentially the same with just a hint of wet leave malt and faint pit fruit, spices. An OK beer, the best I’v had from Krebs, Oklahoma thus far. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 11, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Cornfield. Thanks Carl! Aroma not good. Some chocolate (or is that power of suggestion) and wet cardboard. Reddish amber color with yellow on the edges. Very pretty when held to sunlight. Slightly off-white head that is pretty small. Not much lace. Tastes better than it smells. Some hop. Not sure what the "Choc" in the name stands for. Not chocolate. There may be some caramel. Better than I thought it would be. Reasonably ok. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Very middle-of-the-road oktoberfest...light-bodied, a bit watered down, light sweet caramel/toffee malts, very little, if any, noticible hopping. My biggest complaint is finding a distinct chaulkiness in the finish. Maybe that’s the "choc" in the choctoberfest! Another rare one thanks to Cornfield.
