troyc (1173), Lubbock, Texas, USA Nov 8, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is very Wit-like. Included some coriander and citrus. Some yeast and sweet wheat malt in the taste. Plenty of coriander and light clove as well. Also a crisp hop finish that was a little unexpected. Not bad in flavor, but somewhat lacking in body. Not bad though. Soonah (900), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA Nov 5, 2009 Poured hazy and pale gold with a super short ring of white, fizzy foam. The aroma was light citrus and soap. The flavor was thin citrus with tons of soapy, perfume and grainy cereal. Very thin, watery body. Not their best effort. JPDIPSO (4863), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Oct 18, 2009 Straw color with a few flakes of fish food adrift. Small covring of white tiny bubbles. Sweet fruity aromas. Hints of corriander flour paste. Initial wheat flavors taken away by a herbal and cerery seed taste. One of very few beers I start to think of mixing with tomato juice. LIght floral to sweet herb finish. A sweet wheat mess in my book. kuphish (150), Bloomington, Indiana, USA Oct 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body with abundant, smoky yeast clouds. Two finger, soapy white head. Light coriander and orange peel on the nose. Not much else. More of the same in the flavors along with some stale bread and mineral water. Light, somewhat thin bodied, moderately sweet, slightly bitter and tart. Prickly carbonation and a lingering tartness on the back of the tongue. Pretty average. Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 23, 2009 Bottled. Poured watery golden with a short, uniform cap of white head. The aroma picked up lemon and tart wheat with some sort of non-descript pale malt beneath.. warmth brought out a touch of wet grains.. not bad. The flavor found honey and toasty grains at the core, again with tart wheat and some lemongrass around.. not much influence other than mild bitterness from the hops.. finished short and sweet. Light-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. dry and tart.. not a whole lot going on in this one, but it was decently executed. douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Sep 21, 2009 12 oz bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white foamy head. The aroma is nice; sweet citrus, oranges and yeast. The flavor is similar; unoffensive, clean, coriander, oranges, yeast, very smooth. jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Sep 6, 2009 Hazy golden coloured body with orange tinted highlights and a very thin white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied; Assertive soapy taste with yeast and lemons noticeable as well. Aftertaste shows some more refined flavours and coriander seed barely coming through. Overall, not such a great beer, but again - good to have during hot days doing mundane tasks like cutting the grass. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Broadway Wine Merchants in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 31-August-2009, sampled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 05-September-2009. brentfeesh (1030), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Sep 1, 2009 Received in trade from ericandersnavy, AND it is a new state! Thanks. Fairly clear for a white. Golden straw color with a light head that is quick to go. Wheat aroma that is a bit metallic with hints of musty honey and wild flower. Flavor follows up with musty grain and wheat presence. Touch of wheat malt, honey, and floral hints but nothing stands out in the foreground (and I’m probably stretching to get that much). Mouth feel is wet and musty.
