Commercial Description:
Here at choc Beer Company we have a passion for wheat brews, specifically unfiltered wheat ale. When we set out to make Last Laugh we wanted to incorporate not only the great things we enjoy about our own unfiltered wheats but also those that we’ve enjoyed from other great brewers all into one. What a stroke of luck when one of our brewers, Trae Reese, came in one day with a beer he had been working on in his garage. We start with 2-row malted barley; to that we add malted and unmalted red wheat, a gentle hopping of American Cascade and Centennial hops finished with the distinctive flavor and aroma of Indian coriander. I think you will agree Last Laugh will stand up to the traditions of wheat brews from around the world. Prost!

12 oz bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white foamy head. The aroma is nice; sweet citrus, oranges and yeast. The flavor is similar; unoffensive, clean, coriander, oranges, yeast, very smooth.

Hazy golden coloured body with orange tinted highlights and a very thin white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied; Assertive soapy taste with yeast and lemons noticeable as well. Aftertaste shows some more refined flavours and coriander seed barely coming through. Overall, not such a great beer, but again - good to have during hot days doing mundane tasks like cutting the grass. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Broadway Wine Merchants in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 31-August-2009, sampled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 05-September-2009.

Received in trade from ericandersnavy, AND it is a new state! Thanks. Fairly clear for a white. Golden straw color with a light head that is quick to go. Wheat aroma that is a bit metallic with hints of musty honey and wild flower. Flavor follows up with musty grain and wheat presence. Touch of wheat malt, honey, and floral hints but nothing stands out in the foreground (and I’m probably stretching to get that much). Mouth feel is wet and musty.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Muddly golden color not much of its white head. The smell is wheat, spices, and fruits. The taste is spices, wheat, fruits. Eh.

Pours a hazy yellow straw color. Thin white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is moderate with yeast and citrus. Flavor is backed by spicy clove and coriander. Very refreshing. I’m not a big wheat beer fan, but this one was surprisingly good.

Bottle with much thanks to Soonah. Pours a gold/ orangey color with a fizzy head. Aroma is very floral with a bit of citrus thrown in for good measure. Rather nondescript beer...light honey note with some earth and flowers..Rathery thin on the palate and unimpressive to say the least.

Golden tan with a large head on the pour. Aroma is citrus and a bit of yeast. Crisp and thin body. Flavor coriander, citrus tang, a bit of a bready flavor maybe? decent beer.
