Commercial Description:
Here at choc Beer Company we have a passion for wheat brews, specifically unfiltered wheat ale. When we set out to make Last Laugh we wanted to incorporate not only the great things we enjoy about our own unfiltered wheats but also those that we’ve enjoyed from other great brewers all into one. What a stroke of luck when one of our brewers, Trae Reese, came in one day with a beer he had been working on in his garage. We start with 2-row malted barley; to that we add malted and unmalted red wheat, a gentle hopping of American Cascade and Centennial hops finished with the distinctive flavor and aroma of Indian coriander. I think you will agree Last Laugh will stand up to the traditions of wheat brews from around the world. Prost!

Hazy yellow pour. Has a wheaty aroma. Taste has an organic quality to it with a fizzy mouthfeel. Kinda tastes like the way Whole Foods smells. Similar to the Waving Wheat but sans the citrus.

Pours a pale straw with a moderate white head. Aroma of strong coriander, lemon and hay. Flavor of crust, coriander, hay and lemon. Very much overspiced. Finishes dry, bitter and spicy. Light and creamy.

Bottle from ScottyK. Poured out a cloudy marigold yellow with a light white head. Aroma was mainly wheat and citrus. Hints of citrus and light wheat flavors were predominant. Palate was slightly thin. The thin palate and too faint flavors kept this from being a really great "hot day" beer. Strengthen the flavor a bit and it could be a real winner.

Bottle Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head which leaves rather quickly. Aroma is mostly lemon. Has a good carbonation. The flavor is spicy and tart. Has a decent mouthfeel. The texture is watery. Has a light body. The finish is okay at best. No real aftertaste, seems to leave once its past the tongue. Crisp and refreshing.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a cloudy gold with practically no head. Aroma is pretty weak, pick up a little citrus. Flavor of some faint citrus, kinda grainy, water. Mouthfeel is light body with high carbonation, very watery. Overall, nothing that stands out, but great for a hot weather beer....
