Smells very floral, citrusy, something strange. First sip is cold and a touch sweet but clean. Not really all that bitter, more sour than bitter, I thought. Not the best in their repertoire, but not bad. Not my first choice. But not bad. ChainGangGuy (2562), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, gold body with, well, not much head.
Smell: Faint whiffs of malt, corn, and spicy hops. Moving on!
Taste: Faint light pale malts paired with some choice corn kernels. Lightly sweet. Spicy hops with just a hint of citrus flavor and bitterness, all of it light, mind you. Drying, crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Just a hair above medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Just what you’d expect it to be. It’s a light lager and not too far removed from what you’d get from Budmilloors. Cletus (5055), Connecticut, USA

Tastes light and citrussy. Decent for a session beer. Pete’s Place is an excellent restaurant and its Choc beer is worth a try, but Miner’s Light is nothing special. emacgee (1872), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

The nose is sweet, malty, some bready character, crisp, leafy bitterness, I think GMCC hit it with "honey". The flavor is interesting. Malty, bready, some honey, a little citrusy, not corn water for sure. Not bad. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Taste is musty, wheat, funky, faint hops. OK effervescence. Not quite up to the American Wheat except for the carbonation/effervescence.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Sampled from bottle. This light lager pours clear dark gold with a thin white head. Aroma is quite bold for the style. Its malty aroma is quite pleasant compared to a BMC product. Well-balanced flavor with a floral hop presence. The yeast imparts a bit of character not typical for the style. Medium-light body and well carbonated. Good for a light lager, but not a beer that I enjoy often becasue I dislike the style.
