Commercial Description:
One of the most interesting styles of beer in the world must be the Belgian White or Wit beer. White beers like waving wheatare part of the world's large family of rustic, unfiltered wheat beers (our infamous choc beer being one of them). The suspended yeast and wheat proteins give white beers their unique hazy, white appearance. Its elusive flavors are complex, and it seems that with every sip another can and will reveal itself - the wheat, the Belgian yeast, the delicate blend of spices, and of course the citrus bitterness of the Curacao orange peel. Here at choc Beer Company, we happen to hold unfiltered wheat beers in very high regard, and when the time came to brew another, the crisp, refreshing white beer was the unanimous choice of the brewery staff. We hope you enjoy our efforts.

Bottle. Pours a large, frothy, white head. Pale, straw yellow body. Hazy with some yeast cloudiness. Spice aroma of clove and coriander. A bit of wheat and some light latex powder. Faint citrus in the nose. Fairly bland flavors. Less spice than in the nose. A more pronounced stale tire air rubber. Lightly grassy with some cereal and a faint tartness. Light body, fairly thin. Moderate carbonation with a dry finish. Lightly bitter. An ok beer, at best.

Bottle via kuphish, named ’Choc Waving Wheat’. Clear golden with a small beady white head and a touch of lemon cleaner. Taste is extremely dry and lightly grainy, lemon citrus and faint rubbery (g)rain, some tree sap. Light-bodied with a fizzy attack. Overall impression of dirty yeast. Aftertaste has light, airy muffin-bread. Needs a ton of character if it wants to survive, ugly chicks don’t get by on character.

Bottled. Poured brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet toasted bananas paired with peppery wheat and orange zest.. little metallic character on the back of the nose. The flavor was really dominated by sour, bitter orange peel and the same metallic character.. banana and a hit of orange meat at the core.. finished tacky, spicy, and sour.. not so tasty or well executed. Light-bodied and harsh on the palate, and near undrinkable.. not good.

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of pale wheat, light spice and citrus and a mild cardboardie type scent. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong assertive wheat up front with some citrus and light clove flavours noticeable. Aftertaste is fairly mild with more yeast and wheat coming through than any other real tastes. Overall, an acceptable wheat, but not showing much flavours - a bit light and not really recommended. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Toby Keith’s restaurant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 02-September-2009.

Another one from soonah. One of the more enjoyable offerings from these guys. Big spice aroma with some clove and cinnamon that comes through to the flavor a bit. The wheat is really what the flavor is all about though. Adding some body and grainy mouth feels to the beer. Slight sweetness on the finish.

Poured hazy rust with a minimal head. Big fruit stripe gum aroma.....a touch off-putting in its sweetness. The flavor is nice with a bubblegum and yeast beginning, with a sweet nutty finish.

Bottle thanks to Soonah. Pours a semi cloudy orange with a fluffy head. Aroma is of citrus and some spice...taste is similar but rather sweet with notes of honey and grain..almost cloying in fact. Finish is rather light. Eh.

Thick golden color. Lots of carbonation and floaties. Similar to a cider carbonation. Nice fresh aroma. Bubbly feel. Taste has high elements of citrus. Wheaty and nice with a thick feeling.
