Aroma of cinnamon and subtle bannana. Flavor of cinnamon, corriander, bannana, lightly sweet. Mouthfeel is light, soft, with high carbonation.....Overall, it threw me off, but after a few more sips, it’s a pretty good beer! troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a hazy dark golden color with a good amount of white head and good lacing. Potent aroma of light fruits, some yeast, and a touch of spice. Flavor is quite smooth. The main notes I picked up were apricot, cinnamon and sweet wheat malts. Lesser amounts of bubblegum, clove and sweet cornbread as well. Better than average body and smooth, rolling carbonation. Personally, I thought this was a fantastic beer... and was different than many American-brewed Wits that I have tried. Certainly one worth trying. FROTHINGSLOSH (2025), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2008 This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy dark yellow color with a medium sized yellow-white head that lingered. The aroma was dryish citrus, musty, yeasty and peppery. The flavor was spicy, peppery and had a crisp citrus note with chewy cardboard and yeastiness underneath. The finish was long, sweetish, tart and tangy citrus laced with pepper. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 26, 2008 This one poured out a dark orange with a tan pillowy head. The aroma and taste was of grainy wheat with an almost nutty/graham cracker sweetness. It went down easily and had a bit of lemon at the end. I could drink a lot of this. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Really like the bottle art - lots of work went into it and it really was well done. Pale hazy orange body with almost no head. Soft spice notes on top of a lemony wheat malt backbone. Light banana and clove. Nice wheaty malt residue on the finish. Really refreshing summer drink - a tad bland but still a good, light version of this style. beerbill (1962), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 13, 2008 Its getting towards the end of the summer, and I just finished attending a festival over the weekend where it seemed every other beer I drank was a wheat beer of some sort. I’m ready for a good pumpkin ale or an oktoberfest at this point. So tonight for dinner, what do I do? I crack open another wheat. To my surprise, I found myself liking this one despite my current attitude towards them. Pours a very cloudy yellow gold with a moderate-thin white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left a few spots of lace. Lemon and wax beans in the aroma. A bit odd, the wax beans that is, but not offensive. The flavor is quite nice actually with lemon, candied lemon peel, and wheat. Crisp, refreshing and enjoyable. dchmela (1440), Orlando, Florida, USA
