Commercial Description:
One of the most interesting styles of beer in the world must be the Belgian White or Wit beer. White beers like waving wheatare part of the world's large family of rustic, unfiltered wheat beers (our infamous choc beer being one of them). The suspended yeast and wheat proteins give white beers their unique hazy, white appearance. Its elusive flavors are complex, and it seems that with every sip another can and will reveal itself - the wheat, the Belgian yeast, the delicate blend of spices, and of course the citrus bitterness of the Curacao orange peel. Here at choc Beer Company, we happen to hold unfiltered wheat beers in very high regard, and when the time came to brew another, the crisp, refreshing white beer was the unanimous choice of the brewery staff. We hope you enjoy our efforts.

Light golden color......extremely hazy, to the point of being opaque. Fluffy head, though it fades a tad quick. Very mild wheat malt aroma. Slight wheat flavor in the front, with a few noticeable hints of citrus......mouthfeel is slightly crisp. Taste of citrus subtly continues in the back, with a very heavy influx of spice......finishes with a slight tang.

Pours light/cloudy with the typical belgian fragrance to it. Decent beer, refreshing, light, good during summer.

Pours out a hazy yellowish slightly orange tinged color with a small to moderate white head. Aroma of some citrus, wheat and yeast. Taste is refreshing and rather straight forward, citrus, wheat some yeast, banana, and slight tartness on the finish. Not my favorite style of beer, but this one was pretty decent

Shared with a friend, sample from a BOMC. Hazy pale straw gold beer. Citrus, banana, and spice nose. Not bad, but not great beer. Decent summer refresher, and didn’t stray too far from the style. Not on par with a real Belgian, but not bad.

Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Choc Waving Wheat. Unclear yellow with white head. Aromas of citrus, banana, wheat, and light spice. Similar flavor with a dry, bitter finish. A little bland, but still refreshing with a good aftertaste.

Thanks Dansting. 12oz brown bottle served in a shaker pint. Poured a hazy straw gold with two fingers of thick, white head. Plenty of carbonation. Wheaty, slightly spicy aroma. Flavor was a bit sour as if something was not quite right with this beer. Spicing was a bit odd as well, more of a pumpkin pie type of thing than the corriander/clove you would expect from a wit. Some noble hop aroma as well.

Bottle: poured a dirty brown/yellowish color with a very small head. Heavy sitrus scents but not a bad taste at all. Could use a little more alcohol bite..

BOMC. Bottle say’s Choc’s Waving Wheat. Nice light cloudy pour, with a decent head. Good aroma and flavor. True to the style. Crisp and refreshing. Good brew. Reminds me of Hoegaarden.
