derekbang (73), Indiana, USA Jul 13, 2008 Nothing really stands out about this beer - farirly bland. Years ago when microbrews were becoming more available, this seemed a better selection. As the quality and availabilty of microbrews has exploded, it simply doesn’t stand up. Guinness4Duff (408), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Clear dark brown pour with a light brown head. Very faint aroma, some mild roasted and nutty scents. Flavor is mildly tart up front with a little bit of a roasted flavor coming through and a decent bitter finish. its ok. mar (505), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 7, 2008 deep amber pour with a 1 finger cream head. sweet malts and a slight hop scent underneath. light on the palate and the malts are a very strange flavor. kind of sweet and spicy that throws this beer off for me. ericandersnavy (81), denton, Texas, USA Jul 1, 2008 bottle. poured a clear amber with a red hue and a thick beige head that didnt last to long. aroma had some citrus with a little caramel. small hint of hops as well. the flavor was a bit watery picking up some citrus and bitterness from the hops. maybe i chilled this one to long??? pj1855 (18), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottle.
