This seems more like a lager than an ale to me. If this is a brown ale its nothing like any other brown ales, and I dont mean that as a good thing.

Aroma is malty with some nice spiciness to it. This beer for some odd reason really reminds me alot of Sam Adams Boston LAGER. It’s very smooth and crisp. NIce malty base with good hop presence.

I decided to try this after not really enjoying any of the other brown ales I had tasted. Conclusion: I hope you like this style more than me. Vineous, sweet & sour flavor, with clear brown sugars & light molasses, w/pumpernickel scent, mild, almost soapy flavored hops end.

Bottle: Light amber color. Thin white head. Little light on the hops. But overall not bad.

Clear copper brown, dense white head. Aroma of bready malt and some brown sugar. Caramel malt palate, the malt is appreciable and not skimpy, but there is not a lot of complexity beyond that. Enjoyable nontheless.

Amber brown pour with minimal head. Drank this many times but never rated it. Aroma of malt and molasses. Taste is very malty with a slight bitter finish.

This is decent, although far from great. Pours dark amber, almost red, with a small head. Aroma is malty, with roasted malts dominating the flavor. VERY sessionable though.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off white head that diminishes rather quickly. The aroma is a fruity malt with some licorice. Very little lacing on the glass. The taste is a roasted malt with a spicy fruit finish. A great session beer and easy to drink from Matt.
