A pleasant malty aroma greets you as you open this beer. Color is a nice looking dark brown with a lighter head. Flavor is also malty with some yeast and nut. There is a bit of tart hop hidden in the background. Flavor is muted but is pleasant and satisfying.

Poured dark amber, with a little bit of head that went away. Not that much flavor, with a drawn out sour finish.

Bottle... Poured a dark, ruby color with a light brown head. Strong, nutty and malty aroma. Sort of a bland palate, nothing much going on and a little too carbonated for a brown ale. Flavors of fruit, nuts, malt, and a little yeasty. This kind of tastes like half lager and half brown ale. Just a little short of having that good edge to it.

Ok, drinkable brew, some sweetness to it, carmel, slight malt, ratherboring, but nothing really bad about it.

Bottle. I honestly don’t understand why people rave about this. Very simple. Very forgettable.

Flavorful beer with good head. Didn’t have much to set it apart from other beers though, so only a slightly above average beer

Bottle. I was expecting a brown ale like Newcastle but this was way different. Poured a ruby brown and the smell was sweet. The flavor was more of the same caramel sweetness but also some fruit taste I thought perhaps oranges. A Decent beer

This brown ale was pretty good, reminded me of Unibrow Trios Pistoles and Delirium Nocturum. Good solid brew.
