Reddish brown pour with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light toasted malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate sweet malty flavor with a short finish. Below average, but drinkable. mooser (13), Ontario, Canada

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 1, 2006 Wow. Talk about selling out! Who in their right mind would allow the people who make Utica Club anywhere near their recipe? It’s been a while since I had this, and I was unaware of this turn of events and I suspect the quality has been severely compromised. Good luck with that. smoosh (523), New Albany, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Bottle - nice orange/amber body with a beige head. Malt and spice in the aroma. Flavor is malty with maybe a touch of rye. Not a great beer, but better than I remember it being. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 18, 2006 Pour hazy dark copper with not much head to speak of. Aroma was musty roasted malts with hints of nuts and caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a bit of musty cobweb feel. Flavor was of toasted caramel malt with traces of fruit. Shortly after a roasted grain taste starts coming out more. The finish has some mellow hops, but the main aspect is the roasty flavors. An enjoyable session beer. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Dark amber color. A common Ale, with a caramel and honey touch. Very simple. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 25, 2006 Bottle my mom brought to me from Wis. Aroma was bland malt. Body had a deep amber body with good head that diminished rather quick. Looked more like cough syrup half way. Flavor was real bland and watery at first. Malt texture in the middle of beer till the end uped this rating for me. Interesting berw to say the least. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA
