| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2005 One of the first micros I ever had, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. The chocolatey malt is the most noticeable characteristic of this brew, with the hops providing even more sweetness (and a little bite). Good stuff. ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2005 Yeasty aroma. Peanut butter, apples, and medium-roasted malts seem to manage most of the flavor category. The palate is a bit cidery, and I feel this style should provide more of a medium body. Ultimately, it’s crisp and refreshing, finishes clean with a small malty-sweet/hop-bitter linger. Burps like woodchuck granny smith but with seltzer water replacing the sugar.
