Dark amber color. Good malty character. Not hopped enough for my taste, but is a good brew.

Dark amber/copper. The tast ends abruptly but not too dissapointing. Medium fullness. Head usually is pretty decent. I would for sure try it one more time.

Nice dark copper color with a light tan head. Noticable aroma that I can’t quite pin down. The flavor leans to the malty side. Easy to drink, but leaves an after taste I don’t really care for. This was my first 6-pack and probably my last. Worth a try.

Dark amber brown, small head. Nose is malty--hints of raisin and coconut. Thin to medium bodied with some malt character. A bit sweet with a decided lack of hops. Drinkable but who cares?

This one poured reddish brown with a thin white head. The aroma was sweet and malty as well as nutty. The taste was similar with a hop ending to it. It was smooth and a decent average priced brown ale.

Bottle. Dark amber beer with a minimal head and lively carbonation. Nutty caramel malt aroma. Similar flavor. Hop bitterness provides balance, but little character. Thin mouthfeel. Easy to drink. I remember this having more "punch" at one time. Seems thinner and less hoppy to me now. Either this has changed, or I have. Probably both.

I had this a couple of times. Not a bad beer. The taste and the aroma were nothing to brag about. But at least the taste had some sort of presense. There are many brown ales that are better then this. I cannot recommend this one.

overall an ok beer, it was less than i expected, "ruby-brown" color was as promised, slightly tangy, similar to a sierra nevada without the bite. an overall average brown ale
