This beer is featured in the sequel to The Blair Witch Project, entitled : Blair Witch 2, Book of Shadows. It’s the favorite beer of this really pretty goth chick named Kim (played by the lovely actress Kim Director). She guzzles lots of this beer, gets a buzz, and we get a nice closeup of her lovely face as she stares at an owl in the woods at the ruins of Rustin Parr’s house, where the gang camps for the night. Apparently, however, they wake up in the morning with no memory of the night before (due to too many bottles of Pete’s). Later, it seems, they discover that the Blair Witch controlled them in their drunken state (again, from guzzling too many bottles of Pete’s Wicked Ale, an irony probably not lost on the Blair Witch herself) and had them murder some other tourist/movie fans who were camped at Coffin Rock. We get to see the pretty Goth chick Kim run around the woods in her black bra & panties, and in the end they all go to jail (except two who die). Anyway, that’s where I initially heard of this beer from.

This is an excellent beer I wish I could buy by the 12 pack or case. Strong, full bodied rich taste.

A good combination of different tastes. ’Wicked’ doesn’t refer to strength -- its fairly weak -- but to the strange mixture of malts, hops, caramel, and chocolate. Nothing like a chocolate malt, but definately not an ordinary beer, either. Extremely good for a beer with such a wide availibility.

I liked Pete's Wicked Winter Ale but this totally blows that out of the water. This was a smooth, tasty brown ale. I would surely buy this great brown ale anyday. This is even better than the Firehouse Brewing Company's Brown Cow Ale. Great beer.
