Commercial Description:
Inspired by the revolutionary lagers of Munich, Pete’s Wicked Helles Lager perfectly balances malt sweetness with a clean hop finish.

Bitter and bland but a very drinkable beer. I liked it more than all of the other Petes products except for Oktoberfest. Not bad but not amazing.

Just doesn’t deliver! Drinkable, but extremely bland. I wonder if whomever formulated the recipe for this beer ever tasted any of the Helleses offered by Munich’s Big 6? It isn’t like any of them, lacking the subtly sweet maltiness and beautiful hops aroma that are the hallmark of a great Helles.

Not a big fan of the helles style. Not many different flavors going on with this beer. Pretty bland in my opinion. Most of the other Pete’s beers are much better than this one.

Third sample of this style - best yet - very drinkable -something I could see drinking more than one of. Full-bodied malty flavor - golden appearance with a lot of bubble action. Malty aroma. Overall, not bad.

Not bad but I don’t like the style as much as some others.

Aroma has a very light hop tang and faint sweetness to it...Color is a nice honey-gold color--head quite light though...Flavor is a light blend of a sweet malt base and mellow hoppiness, with very restrained carbonation, leading to a mildly dry finish. The light carbonation lets the well-balanced flavors through nicely, and the body is just substantial enough to satisfy. Overall, this beer is quite drinkable stuff, though a little "delicate" in character...I still found it quite enjoyable...
