Pours cloudy golden orange with tiny suspended particles and a small off-white, mostly diminishing and leaving spotty lacing. Faint light bread aroma with a yeasty body and hoppy nose. Initial flavor is sweet yeast and then a sour hop finish with a lingering effect. The palate is light and fizzy with a buttery smoothness.

Bottle. Medium clear amber with a small white head that disappears quickly and leaves some lacing. Aroma and taste both have a nice balance of caramel malt and spicy floral hops. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. I’d buy this beer again.

I found this little beauty all alone in the mixed up rack. Loved the coppery color and white head. Flavor was clean crisp and not watered down. I like the hoppy bite and enjoyed this beer.

For its availability and price, you can’t go wrong. I typically like Pete’s products. This is a very crisp and clean lager, just the right amount of bitterness and very drinkable.

This is the only Helles I’ve had, so I don’t have much of a reference here. Like most of the Pete’s brews I’ve had, it was flavorful and overall a pleasant experience. Poured a coppery color with a citrusy scent. Decent head. Flavor was a good balance of malt and hoppiness. Not a bad beer at all.

I really liked this brew for a decent run of the mill lager when it was available. Nice, crisp, clean taste. Very satisfying, easy drinking brew.

Nice clean light copper pour with big white head that dissapeared quicker than I'd like. I mean if I'm going to stick around then the head should also, right? Aroma wasn't so good, like a wet mop, yum. Flavor was a bit bland in a well balanced way. Since the head bailed on me, this shit went down the drain. Sorry Pete.

A decent Helles, with a malty/hoppy/citursy aroma. Finishes fairly crisp and smooth. Not bad.
