| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 22, 2003 At first blush I thought there might be some decent malt action here, but as i went that receded into an unpleasant, thin and whiny sweetness without much of anything to dry it out. Ended up not finishing the bottle (at a party where my homebrew was a much much better choice). BtownBrewer (91), Belchertown, Massachusetts, USA

I think this is the beer that I was drinking when I accidently smashed my ultra-cool 25 cent flea market brandy snifter against the front steps. I mourn for my glass, but not this beer. Tasted too light and had no body to it at all. I did Pete's a favor and turned this beer into piss. DYCSoccer17 (2200), Davis, California, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 30, 2003 Pours blonde with a very quickly dissapating head. Aroma is faintly skunky, other than that, there isnt one. Start is watery withoug much bite. Finish is more watery with a smooth finish. This beer has no character. SO far, Petes is not impressing me at all. grant (792), Colorado Springs, CO, Colorado, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 28, 2003 Billowing, mushrooming head which settles down over a few minutes, drifting apart like bubbly continents from a primal foam Pangea. A hazy caramel color with little winks of sunlight. Aroma is metallic (copper) and stale maltiness, also a bit of beef gravy and instant mashed potatoes. Getting into the beer, I found a piercing initial bitterness, seemingly interesting, which crumbled like the facade that it was; there was no secure foundation to withstand the blunt instrument that is my "palate." The beer is also redolent of horse urine, and finishes with more metal (but iron filings this time), and a sweet yet astringent sharp finish like club soda. There is also a great deal of canned corn flavor in here. It fails to perfloogullbitate my bajigadaboo. There are several macros that I'd take over this tripe. foduck (304), Denton, Texas, USA

Very subtle flavors, I imagine that's the idea behind the style. This is how light beer should be done. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA
