This is a german style lager. It's got a real german style taste, including the interesting licorice overtones. It's got a good aroma and a nice carbonation. The color is right-on for this style beer.

Ok head initially. About the only thin g that I can taste is the malt. Light gold in color with good carbonation. Quite smooth and easy drinking though. Don’t really notice the hops to much in the finish but is slightly dry. An ok beer but nothing special.

Good balance with nice hop finish. Clear but had off taste up front. Light color. Hops seemed a German type - Tettnanger/Halletauer?

The inital grab in the nose, that wispy carbonation right after opening, was spot on! I love rich pale malt and german hops, but I wasn't getting the feeling this was full-out quality. A little to sweet right away, perhaps, very bready, then gets sweeter yet. Still, not bad.

color is light-medium golden, slight head with some decent lacing. aroma is malty (moderately), but fairly one-dimensional. flavor is moderately sweet, with a slightly sour/dry finish.

I think this is a pretty good beer. Good balance, with a clean maltiness, and dry hop finish. Lighter bodied and good during the summer.
