Feb 19, 2002 Clear golden color, very little head retention; nose somewhat sweet and wheaty. Flavor, while not exciting, is rather refreshing and well-balanced; enough hops and herbal notes to keep it light, enough malt to give it a little depth. A bit better than the last couple of Pete’s products I just rated; more of a Spring beer I guess.

Apr 9, 2003 Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, light bread), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), with a note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Just gotta love that DMS stench. Sugary sweet. Half-step above macro.

Apr 12, 2004 A decent Helles, with a malty/hoppy/citursy aroma. Finishes fairly crisp and smooth. Not bad.
