daknole (514), Plantation, Florida, USA Mar 17, 2008 I had this beer on a trip to the NE in 99(?) and it was ok. Malt and maple flavor are evident upon first taste. I think this was the first maple beer I ever tried. Overall it wasnt bad, just not quite great either. RSRIZZO (945), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 23, 2007 Had this beer on 7/10/1998. Color is a deep dark brown, with low carbonation and very light head. Aroma is the sweet scent of Maple syrup. Taste is rich with a sharp bitterness. It starts with a good medium body that right from the start brings on a smoke taste with light back tones of maple starting as it goes down. All of this builds a little stronger in the finish, which is filled with a sharp bitterness. The smokey maple flavor is a little to strong for me but the rest of this is ok. BallyLoser (120), Bellevue, Washington, USA Oct 1, 2007 Very tasty. Sweet finish. full body with a nice dark brown colour. A bit of a malty taste. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Maple Porter
