Not a bad Oktoberfest. Comes in with a strong malty chocolate nose. Taste is of caramel, and finishes with a hint of chocolate. Color is a deep red amber. I found it to be a pleasant brew, although I am particular to more malt and less hop, which is beer is about.

Not the type of Oktoberfest I am used to. I like them with more bite. But not a bad Pete’s product.

I have no October Fests to compare this to, but I rather enjoyed the smooth palateble flavor of this beer. It lacks a little bit of potent kick or bite, but it has a decent head, and a good crisp flavor that can be repeated in one sitting.

I was not as impressed as I had been in the past. 1998 is still in my mind their best year. Quit changing the recipe

Way too sweet and user-friendly. It’s like a disco remix version of a good fest. Pete’s has gone downhill since it was bought out.
