Apr 12, 2004 Pours deep amber, with medium head. Malty aroma, with slight caramel, nuts, and fruit in the finish. A decent marzen.

Dec 16, 2003 Nice deep amber color, with a short lasting head. Moderately full body, but a little too sweet for my taste. Not much bitter, appropriate for the style I guess.

Nov 17, 2003 Light brown color, clear, decent head formation. Creamy, malty, chocolaty aroma with a touch of fruit. Initial sweet malty flavor, truns dry and toasty in the middle, finishing with a slight bitterness and sourness.

Nov 15, 2003 Ok bought in the 12 oz long neck..I like the label..looks like a great party going on!
Anyway this is quite a nice looking Marzen..dark amber with a smallish off white head..nice carbonation..head goes fast but leaves attractive lace.
Smell is rather odd though..a creamy milky aroma..with some nice malt in the background...strange but not offensive.
Not too bad a taste for Pete's..nice malts..at first not toosweet and a small hop bitterness at the end.
pretty average on the palate.
quite drinkable..not bad really
