It has a good, strong malty aroma that is nutty and slightly fruity. Medium body with moderate carbonation, the flavor is malty up front with a slightly sweet finish that is slightly nutty and a little thin. An average Octoberfest, but pretty good for Pete's. This is a good fall beer. Even better when on sale and it comes with a free glass. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Amber in colour with a large tan head of about four centimetres in height. Ruby highlights show when held up to the light, pretty nice! Malty aroma with some spices (nutmeg) thrown in the mix. Medium-bodied; Spicey flavour with malty characteristics and a mouthful that coats the inside of the mouth. A decent beer, pretty spot-on for the style, better than some others but not a great beer by any means. I bought a six pack of twelve ounce bottles at Top's in Rochester, New York. Dark brown in color and translucent. Not overly hoppy, which is a very good thing. Little bit of spice and bite to it. Somewhat bitter too with a slight wheat taste to it. If you like Pete’s, you should love this.
