Oct 29, 2002 Amber orange color with a moderate light tan head. Old hops and malt aroma. Alot of sweetness (brown sugar and toffee) some what balanced by the hops but a bit too much of each for a really good octoberfest. Also has a bitter alcohol finish that really distracts.

Oct 28, 2002 Updated: Sep 23, 2003Good Oktoberfest beer. I have also had Penn and Saranac Oktoberfests and it ranks in the middle. Good flavor and not too much bite.
