Old undated notes: A fizzy light beer that I like to drink when it’s hot out. There isn’t much to this one.

Oh boy! A retired pale lager! Actually, it’s not too bad. Advertized as a lawnmower beer, it’s just that. Bready malts with a light herbal/floral hopping. Drinkable, but I won’t miss it in its retirement.

Medium gold color, medium head. Lighter tasting lager, mild and smooth. Medium bodied. Good malt/hop balance. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly malty.

Decent lager - but nothing to get too excited about. Starts with a decent medium size head that diminishes pretty quickly with no lacing. Aroma is malty with some nutty undertones. Maltiness carries over to the flavor with a little bit of bitterness for good measure. Would make a good session lager as the name suggests. Tart flavor lasts throughout - strong finish.

There’s a head, but it doesn’t stick around long. Smells nice. Tastes of...water. I’ve long felt that Sam Adams is a notch above Pete’s and the taste of this lager confirms it. Sam Adams’ lager, in contrast, packs a wallop of flavor. Pete’s Pub Lager is far better than Bud, but would benefit from a little more TLC.

Clean, crisp, refreshing as a lager should be. I think a well balanced beer, nice hop and malt flavor that is not over powering. A good beer for these hot Arizona Summers.

A good American lager. Firm malt presence and moderate hopping. Good body. Dark gold color.

This is not what I’ve come to expect from Pete’s. A very light-bodied, light-flavored lager, with just a tad of hoppiness on the end. Doesn’t have a big head. I find myself wishing for more ingredients in this beer, or at least more quantities of the ingredients they did use. Fair to average beer.
