12oz bottle into a pint glass. A decent brew that goes down easy but is far from special.

12 oz. bottle serve in shaker- poured a solid copper/yellow color, medium carbonation, wafer thin white head. Aroma of a light wheat malt, with notes of lemon and citrus that I can’t put my finger on. Hits the mouth with a high-light body, malt is very restrained, lemon sensation picks up from the start and holds in the middle, finish is lingering and complete. The brew for the BBQ gang today- and they won’t be disappointed in the 45+ day of 100+ degree heat.

well i knew it was going to be a hot day so i went for this obvious offering to summer heat. the slight lemon flavor and mild maltiness make this a simple brew but a decent alternative to coors light at the cook out or at the game.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz. bottle. The color is a light gold with a slightly foamy white head. The smell is a sweet flavor. Has a slight citrus flavor, oranges, a little lemon, and a hint of vanilla The taste is nice and easy. Not too strong with orange, lemon, flavors. A little hop flavor as well. This is a beer that I grab while watching some baseball, which is what I imagine this beer was intended for. Is a nice summer beer that is light and is great for popping a cold after doing some yard work.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly’s, 7/7/09

Aroma: Sweet lemony, malty nose
Appearance: Clear yellowish-orange color, little-to-no head
Flavor: Strong malty sweetness, yeasty, citrusy fruits
Palate: Light body, a little overly carbonated
Overall Impression: Overall this one was just plain average. A simple, not too exciting golden ale. This one is what it is, nothing exciting, but a drinkable summer brew.

Bottle Pours a clear gold with an average white head. The head is fizzy and deminishing. Has an aroma of lemon and citrus with hints of wheat. Has an okay carbonation. The flavor is soft but decent. A good kick of crispness followed by some spices. Has a light body. Has a watery texture. The finish is okay but on the weak side. Not an awful beer.

Kicking off the summer of 2009 with some summer ales. This one has a pale orange color with a white head. Aroma of citrus hops and tea. Flavor is sweet and also has hints of orange. Palate is mainly sweet, with some citrus hops in the finish. Overall taste has hints of sweet tea.
