Aroma has hints of lemon and carmel malts. You can taste the citrus and a mild sweetness of carmel with grassy notes. Slight metallic aftertaste with little to no bitter lingerness. Not a bad lawnmower beer, I was expecting worse. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Bottle. Pours amber with a fizzy white head, nice color. However, this is very translucent and has very little carbonation bubbles. Aroma of lemon and pale malts, but not agressive. Texture is a tad watery, but very fizzy. Flavor of lemon, wheat malt, caramel. This is followed my a mild spicy bitter finish. Not offensive by any means, and one of the better Pete’s beers. I like that the lemon is an accent and is not overdone. This has potential to be much better though. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Bottle, from my friend Dave last summer. This is a light decent brew with not much head, lots of carb and a little citrus taste mixed with what seems more like a lager than an ale. It’s good, crisp and light. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2006 A good solid thirst quencher here. Like some other reviewers, I too thought that this would be good while watching baseball on the tube on a Sunday afternoon, so I thought what better time. Finished mowing the lawn, cracked open a cold one and sat on the couch just in time for first pitch. The first thing that I noticed was how smooth it was. Aroma was slightly malty, a little grainy but nothing more unfortunately. Appearance was a nice golden color. Mouthfeel was light and slightly carbonated. Flavors are slightly grassy, a little on the sweet side with a lemony zing to brighten it up a bit. Not enough so that it makes it undrinkable, but just a nice touch. Nothing wrong with this beer. It will be a pleasure to finish off the other 5. mvp (74), Harper Woods, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2006 Flavor starts out sweet. Sweet taste tends to linger which is good. Citrus like aroma but not like a IPA. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Average summer beer. Refreshing taste on a warm afternoon. I agree with others, it did pour darker than I expected, but did good down easy like a summer beer should.
