Commercial Description:
The key ingrediant to a good summer is a great brew! Born to play, Pete’s Wicked Rally Cap Ale is crafted with a special blend of pale and wheat malts, Mt. Hood hops and a smack of natural lemon.

Chilled, this beer has a nasty malt-bitter bite, but it isn’t so bad after it warms to say 55 degrees F, at which point the malts mix with the lemon in a neat twist ever so slightly reminiscent of a milk stout with a citrus tang. Healthy amber color and a small head with extreme lacing. Aroma is simple malt but pleasant. Could use a tad more liveliness on the tongue, but has an interesting hoppy finish. It would be hard to classify this as a Summer Brew in that it tastes so much better warm, but perhaps it could be a "Summer Brew for the air-conditioned house".

12 oz. bottle. Deep yellow with a decent foamy head. Left decent lacing too. Aromas were mostly lemon, with the flavor pretty watered down. Not bad, but average.

An interesting beer. Dark yellow, head started good, but receded quickly. Mild floral aroma. Wheat and hops in the palate, watery finish. I’d be happy to swill this at a baseball game.

12 oz bottle pours blond with a fair white fluffy head. Aroma is of grains, malts and a touch of lemon. Flavor starts off sweet, doughy, bread, and a nice lemon and spice presence. On the palate this is light and carbonated well for a nice summer ale. Clean and crisp on the palate. This one was actually a little better than I expected.

Bottle. A light golden color with a foamy white head. A grainy malt aroma with moderate hoppiness (flowers and lemon). Slightly sweet flavors with bread and a light spice or herbal element. The underlying mustiness left a disapointing finish.

Nice and clean with a crisp taste. I really like this. The nose had a slight lemon to it. I had it when I was down in Arizona on a day when the temp was 110 plus and it really hit the spot. I like Pete’s brews.

Not a bad blonde ale, nice lemon accent and overall smooth and a bit fruity sweet.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale yellow. Lots of hops, citrus and grass and lemon. Light on color, head, and taste. Not bad, bt nothing great.
